Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Kitting Associate for the 1st shift in Covington, GA. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting the kitting area by wrapping and moving completed pallets, keeping the work area clean, and assisting with kitting tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement with forklift drivers (this role is not forklift).
• Maintain housekeeping in the kitting area.
• Attend required training and follow SOPs.

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Kitting Associate (Manual Pallet Jack) – 1st Shift.

This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).

DETAILS AND COMPENSATION

Location: Covington, GA – 100% on-site

Payrate: $17.75/hr

Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday - Friday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) With overtime

SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS

The Warehouse Kitting Associate will support the kitting area by wrapping and moving completed pallets, keeping the work area clean/organized, and assisting with kitting tasks as needed. This is a manual labor role (not forklift). This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Retrieve finished goods pallets from production lines
• Wrap pallets and stage/store in designated areas
• Move pending/released pallets to the correct rack/aisle locations
• Pull pallets to production lines from staging areas
• Coordinate component movement with forklift drivers (this role itself is not forklift)
• Perform daily housekeeping in the kitting area (remove cardboard/trash; sweep/clean as needed)
• Retrieve kitting labels from the front office daily at 11:00 AM
• Attend required training sessions and follow SOPs/housekeeping expectations
• Assist with kitting work when all areas are caught up

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days; strong attendance is critical
• Overtime: Must be willing/able to work overtime as requested
• Experience: 1+ year of warehouse and/or manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Equipment: Ability to operate a manual pallet jack
• Skills: Attention to detail; ability to follow written/oral instructions; ability to work with minimal supervision
• Physical: Frequent standing/reaching and frequent use of hands; ability to lift/move up to ~20 lbs regularly (role involves manual work in a manufacturing warehouse environment)
• Work Environment: Manufacturing/warehouse setting; may involve moderate to occasionally loud noise and working near moving mechanical parts
