Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Distribution Associate to support warehousing tasks and the shipment of products. You will process orders, pick cases, label boxes, palletize and use RF technology.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, about 1 year of relevant experience, and the ability to operate MHE and RF scanners. You must obtain an electric pallet jack certification. Workdays are Fri–Sun, 5am–5:30pm, with pay of $16.50/hr on Fridays and $19.50/hr on Saturdays and Sundays.

Work Environment: (if applicable)

The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.

Work days/hours: Fri - Sun 5am - 5:30pm

Pay rate: $16.50/hr for Friday and $19.50/hr for Sat and Sun

I HAD A VERY DETAILED CONVERSATION WITH THE HM AND THE HM'S BOSS THIS MORNING. THEY NEED FOLKS THAT DO HAVE SOME FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE. We do not want straight forklift. We need a combo of forklift and manual labor folks.
Forklift drivers seem to want straight forklift roles. We had 2 start and quit as soon as they found out they were not straight forklift roles. We need to be very clear with candidates on what this role is. They are emptying 18 wheeler trucks, primarily manually, minimal forklift usage.
To be clear, we need resumes of folks that DO have forklift experience but also manual labor on their resumes. They need to be open to doing both. If they do not want to do manual labor, this is not the job for them.
The dept manager WANTS to convert people to BD FTE's. He has open funding to do so. The new hires just need to come in and prove themselves. Then, there is a potential for them to convert to BD FTE's.
So these roles are primarily TTH positions.
