Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a Distribution Associate in Four Oaks, NC to handle warehousing and distribution tasks related to product shipments. The role involves scanning, picking, labeling, palletizing, and packaging shipments with RF technology.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), 1 year of related experience, and familiarity with MHE. Training may be provided for pallet jack certification and RF equipment usage.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders using RF scanner, pick cases, and label boxes.

• Verify accuracy and prepare shipment packaging.
• Assist with dock manifest tasks and operate related stations as needed.
• Support and back up other warehouse roles as necessary.

Summary

The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks relative to the shipment of products.

Job Responsibilities

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
• Palletize orders including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
• Processes orders using RF technology.
• Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
• May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper.
• May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience, preferred.
• Experience with MHE, preferred.

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
