Job summary

Signify is seeking a Distribution Assistant for 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) at our Mountain Top, PA Distribution Center. Responsibilities include scheduling inbound loads, preparing receiving schedules, and data entry into SAP.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of clerical distribution/transport experience, proficiency in SAP and MS Office, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. SAP experience is a plus; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of clerical experience, preferably in distribution, transportation or manufacturing.
• Data entry for shipping and receiving transactions into SAP and a Warehouse Management system.
• Minimum of High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Windows/Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Previous SAP experience is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound loads from domestic and import vendors and returns for National Return Center.
• Prepare daily receiving schedules paperwork for following day’s schedule.
• Data entry of all receipts into SAP.
• Print and monitor inbound transit reports and maintain vendor/receipt files.
• Print daily shipping reports; print pick tickets, packing lists, and shipping labels.
• Data entry of shipping/tracking information into SAP and other systems.
• Respond to customer service requests and maintain outbound shipment files.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Distribution Assistant-2nd shift (3:00pm to 11:30pm) in our Distribution Center in Mountain Top, PA, with Signify.

• Schedule all inbound loads from both domestic and import vendors along with scheduling of returns for National Return Center
• Prepare daily receiving schedules paperwork for following day’s schedule
• Data entry of all receipts into SAP
• Print and monitor inbound transit reports and maintain files for all vendors and all inbound receipts
• Print daily shipping reports; print pick tickets, packing, labels and any other required shipping documentation
• Data entry of all appropriate shipping and tracking information into SAP and other systems as needed
• Respond to all customer service requests and maintain files for all outbound shipments

More about you

• 1+ years of clerical experience, preferably in distribution, transportation or manufacturing
• Experience in performing data entry for shipping and receiving transactions into SAP and a Warehouse Management system for inventory transactions
• Minimum of High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Computer skills and software experience utilizing a Windows environment, familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Previous experience with SAP a plus
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Hourly Rate - $22.00 to $25.00 (based on experience)
