Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment including thermocouples, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Experience with CAD design and mechanical systems analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
• This internship could lead to an at will full-time role in Signify.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new lighting products and support all technical aspects of the products in our portfolio.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical testing to ensure product reliability and safety.
• Validate electrical components, such as drivers and sensors, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Validate multiple components into a cohesive product design.
• Own the laboratory testing environment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise and during the course of product development and maintenance.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $23 - $29 per hour (based on year of study)
