Job summary

Staffmark Group in Carlsbad, CA is hiring a Distribution Administration Clerk to support order processing, packing, and inventory control. The role offers weekday hours and an hourly pay range of $21.00–$22.00, with a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong math skills, and familiarity with shipping software and inventory systems. Prior distribution or warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Familiarity with shipping software, inventory systems, and warehouse procedures preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, distribution, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
• Experience using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or similar shipping platforms preferred.
• Medical device manufacturing, distribution, or quality control experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of international shipping documentation and trade requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process retail and distributor orders by accurately picking, packing, weighing, and preparing shipments.
• Create and maintain shipping records, packing documentation, and carrier information.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers including FedEx, UPS, and freight providers.
• Verify incoming and outgoing products for accuracy, proper labeling, and shipment readiness.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain shipping supplies and ensure warehouse materials are properly organized.
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including unloading, receiving, and documenting inventory.
• Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards while assisting with special projects as assigned.
