The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of shipping/logistics experience, familiarity with WMS and Excel, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with inventory management and warehouse procedures.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office (Excel), and warehouse management systems.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and label shipments according to company and carrier standards.
• Generate and process shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and invoices.
• Coordinate with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, LTL, and freight companies to schedule pickups.
• Verify outbound shipments for accuracy, ensuring correct items and quantities are shipped.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Document damages, shortages, and discrepancies and report issues to management.
• Accurately record inventory transactions in the warehouse management system.
• Sort, label, and stock incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Assist with order fulfillment, restocking, and other warehouse activities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Clerk.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
