Job summary

Marquee Staffing seeks a detail-oriented Shipping & Distribution Associate to support finished goods handling and distribution. You will fulfill orders, prepare shipments, maintain records, and operate the ERP and carrier systems in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in distribution or warehouse roles, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Pay is $21.00–$22.00 per hour, on-site in Carlsbad, California.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years distribution, shipping, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with medical device manufacturing, distribution, or quality control is a plus.
• Forklift certification, if applicable.
• Familiarity with FedEx ShipManager and UPS WorldShip is preferred.
• Knowledge of international shipping and trade documentation is a plus.
• Understanding of work orders, inventory records, and shipping documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and legible documentation.
• Strong attendance and reliability, with ability to reports to work as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill retail and distributor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, weigh, label, and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Prepare, maintain, and organize shipping records and documentation.
• Coordinate product shipments with third-party carriers.
• Process and post shipping charges as required.
• Verify shipment contents, quantities, labels, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Inspect and stock finished goods for proper tagging and shipment readiness.
• Perform basic cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Keep shipping/receiving areas clean and organized, including housekeeping.
• Process orders using the ERP system and carrier software.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required by management.

This position is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders, preparing and verifying shipments, maintaining shipping documentation, and processing orders through the company’s ERP and carrier systems. The ideal candidate has distribution or warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Fulfill retail and distributor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, weigh, label, and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Prepare, maintain, and organize shipping records and documentation.
• Coordinate product shipments with third-party carriers.
• Process and post shipping charges as required.
• Verify shipment contents, quantities, labels, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain adequate inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Inspect and stock finished goods to ensure products are properly tagged and prepared for shipment.
• Perform basic cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving areas, including sweeping, dusting, and general housekeeping.
• Process orders using the company ERP system and carrier software.
• Perform other duties, special projects, and assignments as required by management.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of distribution, shipping, or warehouse experience.
• Previous experience in medical device manufacturing, distribution, or quality control preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Ability to work in a warehouse and shipping/receiving environment. Ability to perform routine shipping, stocking, inventory, and housekeeping activities. Ability to safely handle and move products and shipping materials as required.
