Job summary

The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) seeks a full-time Distribution Program Manager to support policy and regulatory strategies for deploying low carbon resources at the distribution level of electric utilities in the Southeast. The role emphasizes solar, storage, energy efficiency, electric mobility, and rate designs aimed at reducing fossil fuel reliance.

Qualifications

Experience in renewable energy and distributed energy resources.
Understanding of electricity markets, decarbonization pathways, or energy transition strategies.

Responsibilities

Support SACE utility work in distributed renewables, demand management, and electric transportation.
Review distributed energy programs and policies and provide insights to staff and external partners.
Review and synthesize regulatory and other legal documents.
Engage with distribution utility representatives to advance programs and policies.
Support public education through the communications team, including drafting blogs and articles and assisting with public webinars.
Additional work to support SACE’s mission to improve energy affordability through reducing fossil fuel reliance in the Southeast.
