Wayland Baptist University (WBU) is seeking a Distance Learning Technologist and Administrative Specialist to support the WBUonline LMS for students, faculty, and staff. This REMOTE role involves problem-solving, basic course design/review, data entry, and reporting across multiple databases, under the Director of WBUonline.
Responsibilities include assisting with Blackboard, providing instructor support, coordinating workshops, proctoring oversight, and maintaining calendars and tool lists.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a REMOTE position. The WBUonline Distance Learning Technologist is responsible for providing Learning Management System (LMS) support to students, staff and faculty in a professional, customer-friendly manner, and performs responsible work in the preparation and distribution of time-sensitive term information. Duties consist of problem-solving student issues, basic course design, basic course review, and entering data and generating reports from the various databases used by WBUonline. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation of job performance based upon accuracy and timely completion of assigned work.
