Job summary

CTG is seeking a Disposition Lead III in Waterbury, CT for an hourly consultant role. You will act as the onsite point of contact during Xerox implementations, lead carriers, installation resources, analysts, and trainers, and coordinate equipment delivery, installation, moves, and removal.

Travel extensively across the U.S. with occasional weekend work; you must be able to walk extensively and lift up to 50 lbs, ensuring devices are configured, tested, and properly asset-tagged throughout

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical service experience.
• Experience supporting equipment implementations, installations, moves, or asset disposition preferred.
• Ability to travel to customer sites for several consecutive weeks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite contact during Xerox implementations.
• Lead Xerox carriers, third-party installation resources, analysts, and trainers.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, placement, installation, moves and removal.
• Ensure devices are configured, tested, networked, and asset tagged.
• Collect and maintain asset data: make, model, serial, MAC, IP, location.
• Coordinate asset disposition and disconnect equipment from client network.
• Communicate onsite progress, issues, and exceptions to the Implementation Manager/Coordinator.
• Travel extensively across the U.S. with occasional weekend travel; lift up to 50 lbs.

Job description

Job Title: Disposition Lead III

Location: Waterbury, CT

Job Type: Hourly Consultant

Hours: 40 per week (M-F, 8am – 5pm)

Pay: $25.00/hour

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the onsite point of contact during Xerox implementations.

• Lead Xerox carriers, third-party installation resources, analysts, and trainers.

• Coordinate equipment delivery, placement, installation, moves, and removal according to approved future-state designs.

• Ensure devices are properly configured, tested, networked, and asset tagged.

• Collect and maintain asset data, including make, model, serial number, MAC address, IP address, and location.

• Coordinate asset disposition and ensure removed equipment is disconnected from the client network and properly staged.

• Communicate onsite progress, issues, and exceptions to the Implementation Manager/Coordinator.

• Extensive travel throughout the U.S. and occasional weekend travel required. Must be able to walk extensively and lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of printer, copier, fax, scanner, and multifunction device configurations.

• Understanding of networking protocols and print system requirements.

• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.

• Ability to program/configure printers and MFDs and identify/report exceptions.

• Ability to manage changing priorities and contribute effectively to project teams.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of technical service experience.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• A+ and Network+ (N+) certifications required.

• Bachelor's degree and MCSE, CNE, or other technical certification preferred.
