Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) in Carson City seeks a Leader in Training to join the RISE Dispensary leadership team. You will supervise daily operations, communicate priorities to teammates, and optimize the customer journey while rotating through critical dispensary functions.

This role provides a fast track to growth and progression toward Assistant General Manager, with emphasis on team leadership, compliance, inventory, and delivering memorable in-store experiences.

Qualifications

• At least three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Cannabis experience preferred
• Inventory control experience preferred
• Flexible scheduling including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
• Must pass background checks
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID
• Understand Cannabis laws, rules and Green Thumb policies

Responsibilities

• Support management in overseeing the execution of all dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of products and communicating inventory action items with management.
• Oversee the intake and verification of deliveries, transfers, and inventory management, ensuring accuracy within the vault.
• Lead team members to effectively execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized in-store promotions.
• Demonstrate proper cash handling, including processing payments, discount application, and cash maintenance.
