Job summary

AYR Wellness in Staunton, VA, is hiring an Intake team member for our dispensaries. You greet patients and customers in person and over the phone, provide information, and support front desk operations while maintaining a welcoming tone and a clean lobby.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in retail or hospitality.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Able to pass background checks and adhere to state policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service while interacting with patients and customers on-site and over the phone.
• Process patients by validating identification and entering information into our POS system.
• Operate front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, emails, checking-in patients, and updating patient files.
• Provide all new patients/customers with a brief explanation of services.
• Learn about cannabis products offered and be willing to learn more.
• Manage visitor access of vendors and contractors with Store Manager or Assistant Manager
• Act as liaison to all departments on security needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and lobby areas, ensuring a safe, guest-ready environment
