Bachman's is seeking a Dispatcher for a full-time, union position in Lyndale, MN. The role coordinates daily routes, works with fleet and maintenance teams, and serves as the main contact for internal customers. Requires 6 months dispatching experience, a High School Diploma, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities include directing drivers, answering phones and emails, and maintaining attendance. Numerous benefits and a $26.29/hour pay rate are offered, with weekend duties during peak times.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Class B license preferred.
• 6 months dispatching experience.
• Working knowledge of computer systems.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, communicate, and provide customer service to customers and other departments, including on the phone.
• Must be able to teach and train delivery personnel.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis and up to 100lbs on an occasional basis.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate daily package delivery routes to establish run sheets. Help pull packages for established routes.
• Review delivery runs in DDS and follow up as necessary.
• Work with fleet manager and maintenance team to coordinate preventative maintenance on package delivery vehicles.
• Work with fleet manager to coordinate Bachman and rental vehicles during peak periods.
• Provide work direction to Drivers.
• Be available as the main point of contact by answering phones and responding to emails. Provide excellent internal customer service.
• Perform other duties and assist in other areas as assigned.
• Attendance is an essential function of this position.
