Job summary

Labcorp in New Brighton, MN seeks a Dispatcher/Route Coordinator to join our logistics team. You will schedule, coordinate and dispatch specimen pickups using route management software, manage high-volume calls and emails, and coordinate resources to meet client needs.

This role requires accuracy, cost awareness and timely service, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential for extra hours as needed. Strong communication, organization and multitasking are essential, with experience in routing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in logistics, customer service or operations preferred.
• Experience working as a dispatcher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and dispatch specimen pickups using route management software.
• Manage high-volume email/phone traffic to coordinate resources (employees, vendors, etc.).
• Responsible for a specific service area to ensure optimal client solutions.
• Achieve location productivity and expense targets while meeting customer expectations.
• Balance customer response time, accuracy and cost/productivity targets.
• Follow standard procedures for field requests for service and dispatching calls.
• Problem solve and provide resolutions for specimen-related issues.
• Utilize multiple databases to process requests and inquiries.
• Perform a variety of administrative/clerical duties as needed.
