Job summary

Midwest Logistics Systems (MLS) is seeking an energetic Dispatcher to join our team in Woodhaven, MI. You will monitor driver logs and hours to ensure timely deliveries and support onboarding for drivers while ensuring shipping protocols are followed.

You will communicate with customers, supervise routes, and assist in distributing daily schedules to drivers, contributing to safe and efficient operations within a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a dispatcher role involving DOT/FMCSR requirements for Class A CDL drivers (tractor-trailers) in the trucking industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, customer relations, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Windows applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipments from supplier to customer and effectively communicate with customers.
• Supervise completion of various routes throughout shift.
• Assist in dissemination of daily route schedule to drivers.
