Job summary

Midwest Logistics Systems (MLS), based in Upton, KY, is seeking an energetic Dispatcher to join our team. You will monitor driver electronic logs and available hours to ensure timely deliveries, and assist with onboarding of new drivers while ensuring compliance with shipping document protocols.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of dispatcher experience in DOT/FMCSR for Class A CDL tractor-trailers, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a dispatcher role involving DOT/FMCSR requirements for Class A CDL drivers.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer relations skills.
• Familiarity with trucking safety regulations, ELD systems, hours of service, and CDL qualifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipments from supplier to customer and communicate effectively with customers.
• Supervise completion of routes throughout shift.
• Assist in dissemination of daily route schedules to drivers.
