American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Dispatcher to join our logistics team in Phoenix, AZ. You will work closely with drivers, customers, scale operators, and yard personnel to keep material moving safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will schedule and dispatch drivers, handle customer service calls, and monitor routes and hours to ensure DOT compliance, while maintaining accurate records and providing clear site instructions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years dispatching experience in transportation, logistics, recycling, waste, or related industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
• Experience with roll-off, end dump, or other heavy truck operations (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with drivers, customers, and operations teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solver with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Scheduling and dispatching drivers to meet customer and operational needs.
• Handling customer service calls and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Communicating daily with drivers, scale operators, and yard teams.
• Monitoring routes, schedules, and driver hours to ensure DOT compliance.
• Tracking incoming and outgoing loads and maintain accurate records.
• Providing drivers with job information, site details, and material instructions.
• Helping resolve scheduling issues, service concerns, and other day-to-day operational challenges.
