Job summary

American Iron and Metal in Phoenix is looking for a Class A CDL driver to deliver freight safely and on schedule to support daily operations. You will operate equipment, comply with all safety and DOT requirements, and provide reliable, professional service on every route.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting hazards to dispatch, maintaining equipment, completing roll-off or end-dump hauls, and communicating customer requests.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with no restrictions.
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• At least 3 years of CDL driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete instructions, correspondence, schedules, and basic written documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Report unsafe conditions, service issues, hazards, incidents, and damages to dispatch.
• Maintain equipment in a safe, reliable operating condition.
• Complete roll-off or end-dump hauling assignments as scheduled.
• Communicate customer requests and route updates with dispatch.
• Submit required work orders and driver logs accurately and on time.
