Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) in Petersburg, VA is seeking a Dispatcher to execute a daily freight plan for an assigned area. You will manage the daily delivery schedule for drivers, assess customer needs and timing, and plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.

You will receive orders from suppliers and dealers, provide frontline customer service, monitor emails and web portals, create loads in the dispatch system, and share dispatch responsibilities with the team.

Qualifications

• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Monitor web portals for station inventories
• Solicit freight from customers
• Create loads in dispatch system
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system)
• On-call duties as needed

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Salary:

$45,000-$55,000 depending on experience
