Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a dispatcher to execute daily freight movement plans within the Weatherford area. You will assess customer needs and timing, manage driver schedules, and coordinate deliveries to retail outlets.

The role requires 2 years dispatching experience and strong communication skills. You will handle orders, inquiries, and incident reporting while collaborating with teammates to ensure timely freight movement.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.

Essential Functions

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members
• Monitor web portals for station inventories
• Solicit freight from customers
• Create loads in dispatch system
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of dispatching experience
• Excellent conflict resolution and skills
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
