Job summary

KAG SERVICES INC is looking for a dispatcher to execute daily freight movement plans within the Geismar area. You will coordinate driver schedules, respond to customer orders, and manage communications across teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and team communication.
• Monitor station inventories via web portals and coordinate orders.
• Solicit freight from customers and create loads in dispatch system.
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).
• On-call duties as needed.
