Job summary

As You Wish Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air is seeking a Dispatcher to join our Seattle-based team. You will manage customer calls, assess issues, prioritize service, and dispatch the right technician, ensuring timely, respectful responses and precise follow-ups.

The role is 100% in-office, with Monday–Friday hours and a competitive wage. You’ll report to the Call Center Manager and contribute to a high-volume, service-focused operation.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in outbound and inbound calls.
• At least 2 years of dispatching or scheduling experience (required).
• Experience in the home service industry (preferred).
• Ability to engage with customers and listen actively.
• Proficiency with basic communication tech (phones, computers, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and deliver results.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and get to the heart of what's going on at home.
• Prioritize the service needed and assign a service technician.
• Walk clients through what services they may need, and why.
• Schedule technicians to tackle customer needs head-on.
• Provide a clear timeframe for when to expect the technician.
• Ensure every customer need is handled promptly and respectfully.
• Keep detailed records of customer calls and dispatching tasks.

As a Dispatcher at As You Wish Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air, you'll run our customer support lines, figure out exactly what's going on, sort out how urgent it is, and send the right technician to save the day.
