Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete is seeking an organized dispatcher/administrative specialist to support truck operations, weigh stations, and customer communications. You will coordinate loads, provide directions, and manage tickets, payments, and daily reports. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

The role expects strong Excel use, basic math, and one year of office experience, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience with similar duties or industry.
• Basic math and 10-key adding machine skills.
• Ability to read maps and provide drivers with directions.
• General office experience and ability to operate basic office machines.
• Spanish ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise truckers of loads to pick up and payment pickup information if required.
• Answer phones, assist drivers and take customer orders from Sales.
• Operate scale to weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Record information on tickets for each truck and deliveries.
• Ensure deliveries meet customer requirements and notify supervisor of needs.
• Process payments and forward to Accounts Receivable.
• Provide customer information and route inquiries to Sales as needed.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly activity reports.
• Compile dispatch and customer summary reports for pickups and deliveries.
• Record petty cash receipts and submits to Accounts Payable.
• Read maps and provide directions to customer locations.
• Perform other duties as required.
