Job summary

StrongBuilt Plumbing & Air is seeking a dedicated dispatcher to coordinate and manage service calls for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. You will schedule appointments, assign technicians by location and expertise, and ensure timely responses to customer requests.

The role requires maintaining records, tracking job progress, and optimizing routes to enhance efficiency. Afternoon and evening shifts are available (11:00 AM–8:00 PM, Monday–Friday).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for service calls and dispatch technicians to jobs based on location and expertise.
• Assign technicians to jobs and monitor progress to ensure timely responses.
• Communicate with customers and service personnel, providing updates and addressing issues during visits.
• Maintain records of service calls and track job progress to optimize efficiency.
• Plan and optimize routes to improve response times and service quality.
• Work on afternoon and evening shifts (11:00 AM–8:00 PM), Monday–Friday.

Position Overview:

A dispatcher plays a vital role in coordinating and managing service calls for various home maintenance and repair departments, such as plumbing, HVAC or electrical services. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, assigning technicians to jobs based on location and expertise, and ensuring timely responses to customer requests. You’ll communicate directly with customers and service personnel, providing updates and addressing any issues that arise during service visits. Additionally, you'll maintain records of service calls, track job progress, and optimize routes to enhance efficiency. Your work will ensure customers receive prompt, effective service, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. We are currently hiring for our afternoon and evening shifts between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
