Job summary

Transdev North America in Tinley Park, IL is hiring a Dispatcher to oversee road service through communication with Operators and provide customer support to clients, with a focus on safety.

The role requires 3-5 years dispatching experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; DOT testing may apply.

We offer competitive pay of 18.45–22.55 USD per hour, plus vacation, sick days, holidays and standard benefits.

  • Ensure compliance with ADA, FTA and Pace standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day)
  • Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
