Responsibilities

• Participate in on-call rotation (one week every 3 weeks).

Our collaborative, professional work environment supports personal and team growth, ensuring we deliver reliable and innovative logistics services every time.About the Role:The dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries, maintaining communication between drivers and clients, and overseeing the efficient dispatch of our transportation fleet. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to enhance operational flow and productivity.What You'll Do:Coordinate and Schedule Shipments: Plan and assign loads and coordinate driver schedules for time-sensitive deliveries.Maintain Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, and suppliers, relaying shipment details and updates as needed.Monitor Shipments: Track the status of shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that may arise during transit.Ensure Compliance: Review drivers' logs and maintain records to ensure adherence to state and federal transportation regulations.Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that occur during transit to minimize delays and ensure customer satisfaction.After-Hours Commitment: Participate in the on-call rotation - on call availability for one week every 3 weeksWhat You'll Need:Previous experience in dispatching or logistics preferred.Strong communication skills to coordinate with drivers, clients, and team members.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with TMS software; McLeod experience preferred.Quick problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure.Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.Resilience, patience, and the ability to work with diverse personalities.
