Job summary

Thornton & Grooms is seeking a Dispatcher in Michigan who thrives under pressure and provides calm, professional customer service while coordinating with technicians in the field.

You will confirm customers, reschedule for the next day with 99% accuracy, and dispatch the right tech by following guidelines and communicating with managers as needed. A 9-panel drug test and background check are required; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 10-7pm and weekends.
• 1 year in dispatching, logistics, and/or customer service.
• Flexible and adaptive to daily changes, a good team mate to direct team members, internal staff, field staff, and customers.
• Successful completion of a 9-panel drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

A T&G Dispatcher

• Someone who thrives under pressure with the ability to stay calm while working with customers and technicians
• Confirm customers/ reschedule appointment’s status for the next day with 99% accuracy daily
• Dispatches the right tech to the right job by following the guidelines in place to maximize opportunities by effectively communicating with managers and supervisors if needed
