Location:Lemont, IL; additional locations may include Freeport, TX or Houston, TX (Katy area); McIntosh, AL; Niagara Falls, NY; Charleston, TN; Henderson, NV.
Salary:$65,000 - $78,000
Schedule:Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week
Focus:The Dispatcher is responsible for daily load dispatching for their assigned region to common carriers.
Dispatcher Essential Job Functions:
•Daily load dispatching for assigned region to common carriers
•Leverage telemetry technology to manage and schedule deliveries
•Generate non-conformance notification if load is late, not delivered or rejected
•Contribute to Carrier Score Card reporting
•Partner with Marketing, Customer Service, and Planning to prioritize/fulfill orders during unplanned events
•Utilize load tracking software to monitor shipment progress, identify potential delays, and implement proactive solutions to ensure on-time deliveries
•Maintain JIT service environment/high touch business
•Assist in ensuring carrier compliance
