Job summary

AAA Service Plumbing, Heating, Electric in the Denver metro area is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to organize and dispatch service technicians across plumbing, HVAC, electrical and sewer projects. You will manage daily routes, adjust schedules in real time, and coordinate with technicians, service managers and customer service reps to maximize efficiency and revenue.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, multitasking ability, map reading skills, and at least two years in dispatch.

• Minimum two years of dispatch and coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch service technicians to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate daily routes and adjust schedules in real time.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, service managers, and customer service representatives.
• Monitor job progress and provide updates to customers regarding arrival times and delays.
• Ensure accurate entry of job details, notes, and customer information in dispatch software.
• Prioritize calls based on urgency, location, and technician skillset.
• Support technicians in the field by providing directions, job details, and updates as needed.
• Work closely with customer service to ensure seamless scheduling and customer experience.
• Track and manage technician availability, time-offs, and job completion status.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism in all communications.
• Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and escalated customer concerns.
• Help optimize schedules to reduce drive time and increase job capacity.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to improve dispatch operations.
