Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers regarding order status and shipping info.
• Enter data into Excel or the customer’s database.
• Assign pick‑ups and deliveries to drivers for U.S. domestic shipments.
• Provide customer service support and notify drivers of assignments.
• Maintain communication with drivers and internal staff on shipments.
• Generate emails to internal and external customers.

Skills

Dispatcher

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Chicago's geographic layout to effectively dispatch drivers.
• Fluent spoken and written English, with strong reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers via phone and email regarding order status, shipping information, billing, and other items.
• Enter data into Excel or the customer’s database.
• Assign pick‑ups and deliveries to drivers for U.S. domestic shipments.
• Provide customer service support and notify drivers of assignments.
• Maintain communication with drivers and internal staff on shipments.
• Generate email communication to both internal and external customers.
