Transdev North America, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Dispatcher to manage road service through close coordination with operators and to provide frontline customer support, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

The role requires 3–5 years of dispatching experience, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to work shifts. DOT testing may be required, and the position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years' dispatching experience.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and compliance with 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsabilités

• Oversee road service by tracking trip performance, on-time routing, and incidents.
• Provide customer support regarding trips, no-shows, cancellations and missed trips.
• Manage vehicle operator emergencies; liaise between carrier and emergency services.
• Review daily route performance and respond to issues affecting service.
• Perform other duties as required.

Transdev in Columbus, Ohio is hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Non-CBA Position

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.75/hour– Maximum $23.25/hour

Benefits Include

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.
• Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.
• Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
• Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
• Other duties as required.

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
