B. Carlson Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to keep our service operation moving with urgency and accuracy.

This is not an entry-level role and requires dispatch experience in home services, with ServiceTitan experience preferred. You will manage technician schedules, prioritize calls, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates to deliver five-star service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional dispatch experience required.
• Experience dispatching field technicians required.
• HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or other home service industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple technicians and a high volume of service calls.
• Experience making real-time scheduling and routing decisions.
• ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of technician productivity, call prioritization, and schedule management.
• Ability to multitask and make decisions quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to stay organized, calm, and solution-focused under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily technician schedules in a fast-paced service environment.
• Dispatch technicians based on customer needs, technician skill sets, location, and call priority.
• Monitor schedules throughout the day and make adjustments as priorities change.
• Dispatch and debrief technicians to keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Communicate with customers regarding appointments, scheduling changes, and service needs.
• Work closely with technicians, customer service representatives, and leadership.
• Help maximize technician productivity and available service capacity.
• Identify scheduling challenges before they become problems.
• Maintain accurate information within the dispatching and scheduling system.
• Support daily and monthly operational goals while delivering an excellent customer experience.
