B & J Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our growing team in Wilson, NC. The ideal candidate has a background in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and ensures technicians and customers have a great experience.

This onsite, office-based role requires strong organizational skills, reliable scheduling, and coordination across technicians, service managers, and office staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of dispatching experience in HVAC, plumbing or electrical.
• Must be able to work onsite in the office daily.
• Experience using ServiceTitan is highly preferred.
• Proficient with computers, scheduling software, and phone systems.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily technician schedules and adjust routes as needed.
• Prioritize emergency, same-day, and time-sensitive service calls.
• Communicate job details, customer concerns, and scheduling changes with technicians.
• Work closely with technicians, service managers, and office staff to keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer and job information in scheduling software, including ServiceTitan.
• Maintain a calm, professional, and organized approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Help maximize technician productivity while maintaining realistic schedules and travel times.
