Job summary

FastTrack Staffing is seeking a highly organized dispatch and logistics coordinator to support our operations in Byron Township, Michigan. The role splits roughly 50% between dispatch/administrative coordination and 50% warehouse/dock coordination, ensuring schedules, paperwork, and shipments stay aligned.

You will work with CDL drivers, manage driver paperwork, track trailers, coordinate dock activity, and keep all teams informed with accurate information.

• Strong communication and follow-through skills.
• Comfortable working with CDL drivers, forklift operators, warehouse employees, customers, and vendors.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and make decisions with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dispatcher with daily schedules, driver run sheets, and paperwork.
• Communicate with CDL drivers about pickups, deliveries, delays, and requirements.
• Prepare driver paperwork and keep dispatch board accurate throughout the day.
• Track drivers and equipment using GPS and report changes or delays.
