Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Dispatch Supervisor in Thorofare, NJ to oversee driver owner/operator activities, pick-up and delivery operations, and port interactions.

You will collaborate with warehousing and transportation teams to maintain efficient, compliant service and drive continuous improvement within the logistics department. The role requires dispatching experience and strong knowledge of trucking/transportation processes, with opportunities for growth at a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• Two years or more related experience and/or training.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Dispatching and tracking port, store deliveries and LTL drivers.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations managers to ensure efficient flow of product.
• Oversee dispatch, customer service, brokerage and maintenance within the transportation department.
• Maintain equipment and ensure service levels per SLAs.
• Minimize driver turnover and transportation costs.
• Ensure DOT, FMCSA and OSHA compliance.
