Responsibilities

• Dispatch duties: take and process load orders, plan and schedule loads/deliveries
• Inform Transportation Manager of shipping/scheduling problems on time
• Advise customer/Marketing on scheduling via email/phone
• Manage repairs/maintenance with outside vendors meeting DOT and Jebro requirements
• Assist with 24-hour on-call coverage for phones during week and weekends
• Maintain DOT records and driver qualification files; notify drivers about medical card expirations
• Assist in maintaining department/company records
• Perform routine clerical work: drivers logs, inspection reports, fuel usage
• May perform additional transportation dept duties such as collecting/delivering drivers to repair facilities or picking up parts
• Always work safely and prevent unsafe actions
