Job summary

Frontier Airlines is seeking an experienced Dispatcher Supervisor to lead Flight Dispatch and Central Load Planning on a rotating shift. You will guide safety-focused decision-making, coordinate with SOC and ATC, and manage resources to keep flights on time and compliant.

Requirements include an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate, 2+ years dispatch experience (5+ preferred), and HS diploma with aviation/management degree preferred. Expect rotating shifts and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain an FAA issued Aircraft Dispatcher certificate.
• Minimum two years of aircraft dispatch experience; five years preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in aviation or management preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatcher work schedules, sick calls, trades, and overtime.
• Ground any flight deemed necessary for safety or operational needs.
• Oversee dispatchers and ensure information flow within SOC.
• Coordinate with SOC Shift Manager on daily flight schedule execution.
• Act as liaison to Air Traffic Control for slot swapping and optimization.
• Monitor weather and ATC concerns; advise on minimizing operational impact.
• Balance dispatcher workload and re-distribute during irregular operations.
• Conduct audits and quality control for Dispatch and Load Planning outputs.
• Supervise Aircraft Dispatchers and Load Planners per policies and regs.
• Develop and train dispatch staff; perform competency checks.
• Exercise managerial financial authority and approve spend as needed.
