Job summary

Berry Aviation seeks a Dispatch Shift Supervisor to lead the Aircraft Dispatchers on duty, coordinating workload, priorities, and communications to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations. The role requires directing operational control during the shift and coordinating with Flight Ops, Maintenance, Crew Scheduling, and Ground Ops.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate or FAA Airman certificate required.
• Minimum of three years of aircraft Dispatch/Flight Following experience under 14 CFR Part 121 and/or Part 135.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and TSA security threat assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision, leadership, and direction to Aircraft Dispatchers on the shift.
• Coordinate workload and shift priorities to ensure safe, compliant flight operations.
• Issue flight releases under delegated authority and monitor regulatory compliance.
• Escalate safety, compliance, or staffing concerns through the chain of command.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring of dispatch staff and ensure effective shift turnover.
