Job summary

The Zemba Companies in Zanesville, OH, seeks a Customer Service Dispatcher to analyze and schedule product movements for our Ready-Mix Concrete and Materials lines. You will coordinate with drivers, operations, and customers to maximize transport efficiency and ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include selecting routes, tracking vehicles, communicating changes, maintaining dispatch records, and supporting sales and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedule locations based on customer requests and needs.
• Determine best time and route for deliveries to optimize truck utilization.
• Communicate with customers and supervisors to address questions or issues.
• Monitor driver locations and utilization to coordinate dispatch.
• Record and maintain dispatch-related files and data.
• Advise drivers on traffic conditions and hazards to ensure safety.
• Support sales and administrative tasks as needed.
