Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate with drivers, enter tickets in GFL software, and resolve service issues on route. You will interact with customers, sales, and operations to ensure timely service and accurate documentation.

The role requires 1–2 years in dispatch or related fields, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Outlook/Excel/Word. TRUX experience is a plus, with on-site work in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school; post-secondary courses or diploma asset
• 1–2 years in transportation, dispatch or customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word; TRUX experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Schedule service and address customer needs per policies
• Dispatch calls to routes based on driver locations
• Record day’s end paperwork and review route sheets
• Coordinate with departments to resolve service issues
• Communicate with customers via email/phone; handle inquiries
• Assist in determining daily driver staffing levels
• Work with routing specialists to optimize routes
