Job summary

Trilogy Medwaste seeks an Operations Field Specialist to coordinate daily transportation operations, ensuring prompt, safe service and DOT compliance. You will act as the main liaison among drivers, customers, sales, service, and operations while optimizing routes and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years in dispatching, routing, logistics, transportation, or customer service.
• Waste industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of route planning, dispatching, and transportation operations.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS and routing software.
• Proficient with NavuSoft and other dispatch software.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch daily work orders to drivers using Navusoft, GPS systems, and calls.
• Schedule and coordinate daily customer service stops based on needs.
• Route new and existing customers to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor route progress and ensure completion of all routes.
• Coordinate roll-off container, compactor, and hospital RBX schedules.
• Maintain route sheets, driver schedules, and dispatch records.
• Provide drivers with updates, directions, and notes.
• Ensure DOT paperwork is completed during daily check-in.
• Support administrative/operational staff as needed.
• Handle customer service requests and operational tasks.
