White Cap is seeking a Dispatch Manager in Missouri to lead delivery drivers and dispatchers, ensuring safe, efficient routes and on-time deliveries in a growing distribution network.

You will coordinate with Warehouse and Inside Sales teams, manage fleet maintenance, and drive operational excellence in a dynamic environment. 7+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in dispatch or related leadership role.
• Experience supervising delivery drivers and dispatchers.
• Experience with routing software and logistics planning.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver safety programs.

Responsabilités

• Manages, recruits, and hires all Delivery Drivers and Dispatchers.
• Ensures trucks are loaded and operated in safety compliance.
• Routes drivers to meet planned and unplanned deliveries.
• Maintains vehicle fleet and coordinates with maintenance.
• Minimizes turnaround times through supervision of Drivers.
• Collaborates with Warehouse Manager to align Delivery and Warehouse ops and inventory controls.
• Coordinates with Inside Sales to resolve delivery issues and reroute trucks.
• Grows knowledge of branch delivery area geography and routes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A Dispatch Manager at White Cap…

• Manages, recruits, and hires all Delivery Drivers and Dispatchers.
• Ensures delivery trucks are loaded and operated in compliance with all safety standards.
• Ensures Drivers are routed effectively to meet planned and unplanned delivery commitments.
• Ensures vehicle fleet is properly maintained.
• Minimizes turn-around times through direct supervision of Drivers.
• Works with Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless integration of Delivery and Warehouse operations and proper inventory controls.
• Works closely with Inside Sales and Account Managers to resolve delivery issues, reroute trucks and make unplanned vendor pickups.
• Develops and maintains expert knowledge of the branch delivery area geography.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 7+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience
• Experience with routing software.
• Experience with DOT regulations and driver safety programs.
