Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is seeking a Dispatch Manager to lead the delivery and dispatch team on-site in the Montgomery area.

You will recruit and supervise Delivery Drivers and Dispatchers, ensure safe loading and operation of trucks, and optimize routing to meet commitments while coordinating with Warehouse and Inside Sales teams. The role emphasizes safety, on-site collaboration, and continuous improvement across delivery operations.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in dispatch/logistics.
• Experience managing delivery drivers and dispatchers.
• Experience ensuring safety and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manages, recruits, and hires all Delivery Drivers and Dispatchers.
• Ensures delivery trucks are loaded and operated in compliance with all safety standards.
• Ensures Drivers are routed effectively to meet planned and unplanned delivery commitments.
• Ensures vehicle fleet is properly maintained.
• Minimizes turn-around times through direct supervision of Drivers.
• Works with Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless integration of Delivery and Warehouse operations and proper inventory controls.
• Works closely with Inside Sales and Account Managers to resolve delivery issues, reroute trucks and make unplanned vendor pickups.
• Develops and maintains expert knowledge of the branch delivery area geography.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 7+ years of experience.
