Job summary

Auto Driveaway is seeking an energetic, safety-focused Operations Manager to execute dispatch operations at our Dallas, TX location. You will lead a team of drivers and office staff, oversee vehicle service coordination, and ensure timely, compliant service delivery nationwide.

The role requires strong management, logistics, and communication skills, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Occasional travel may be required to support operations and client needs.

Qualifications

• This position requires multi-tasking, prioritization, thoroughness and accurate work, plus clear cross-department communication.
• Strong management, human relations and communication skills are essential.
• A solid logistics skill set is preferred.
• Understanding customer service delivery techniques and problem-solving methods is expected.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 times per year for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Motivate a staff of professional drivers and office personnel.
• Evaluate vehicle conditions and approve recommended services (auto detail, preventative maintenance, body repair).
• Track and manage active vehicle services through the Cloud Based ERP system.
• Coordinate driver assignments to meet client needs and expectations.
• Ensure 100% updates in internal systems and customer communications.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSR, state and local regulations for dispatch operations.
• Develop contingency plans for emergencies and improve service levels.
