Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Supervisor, Operation to lead daily dispatch activities and ensure on-time deliveries within a busy logistics environment. You will coordinate drivers, optimize routes, and maintain strong customer relations while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will coach staff, manage performance, and collaborate with warehouse, transportation, and leadership teams to drive efficiency and service excellence across the operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of transportation, dispatch, or logistics experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch activities for all delivery routes and linehaul movements.
• Coordinate driver assignments, route planning, and equipment utilization.
• Supervise dispatch personnel and drivers; conduct daily huddles and meetings.
• Promote safety, compliance with DOT regulations, and audit processes.
• Track KPIs: On-Time Delivery, Route Efficiency, Driver Productivity, Service Failures, Customer Satisfaction.
