Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, LP in the United States is seeking an Assistant Dispatcher to support the branch Dispatcher by coordinating, scheduling, and assigning labor and equipment to ensure on-time crane and truck delivery to customers.

You will gain hands-on training across dispatch duties, process hires, maintain training and badging, and help ensure compliance with DOT regulations while communicating with operators, drivers, and unions.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends simple instructions and memos; writes simple correspondence.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dispatcher in coordinating, scheduling, and assigning labor and equipment.
• Prepare daily dispatch reports and schedules.
• Process new hires and maintain training database and badging.
• Ensure DOT compliance and permits; monitor weather-related regulations.
• Coordinate with unions to ensure timely customer orders.
• Assist in dispatch of labor and equipment; communicate with operators and drivers.
