Maxim Crane Works, L.P. is seeking an Assistant Dispatcher to support the Dispatcher in coordinating, scheduling, and allocating labor and equipment to projects. The role includes administrative duties and potential brief duties as Dispatcher when needed.

The position emphasizes training across broader dispatcher responsibilities, with a focus on safety, DOT compliance, and timely delivery of equipment to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' prior experience as an equipment operator, driver, or in an administrative support role.
• Prior transportation and/or heavy equipment experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dispatcher with coordinating, scheduling, and assigning labor and equipment.
• Prepare daily dispatch reports and determine schedules.
• Process new hires and assist in training database and badging.
• Ensure DOT and other regulations are followed.
