Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, L.P. is seeking a Dispatcher to ensure timely crane deliveries and to supervise Operators, Drivers and Support Personnel. The role requires coordinating fleet resources, maintaining permits and compliance, and communicating with Sales and Operations on availability and lift plans.

Candidate should have 3+ years in construction or fleet industries with heavy equipment and experience using JD Edwards CMMS in dispatch or scheduling roles.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of local geography.
• Advanced knowledge of CMMS system.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of construction, or fleet related industry with transportation or heavy equipment experience preferable.
• 3+ years' experience using CMMS system (JD Edwards) in dispatcher or scheduling role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates labor and equipment needs, assigns, and dispatches labor and equipment and maintains communication with Operators and Drivers.
• Coordinates with Branch Manager and other dispatchers to determine efficient scheduling of labor and equipment.
• Ensure permits, registration and insurance cards are up to date for each crane and tractor.
• Check that inspections are completed and file paperwork; review ELD compliance for cranes and tractors.
• Review daily logs for hours to ensure compliance; match time sheets to job tickets.
• Enter customer orders into crane rental agreements; maintain customer relationships.
