Job summary

Maxim Crane in Bensalem, PA seeks an Assistant Dispatcher to support coordinating, scheduling, and assigning labor and equipment for daily jobs. You may also step in for the Dispatcher to ensure timely service to customers.

The role requires accuracy and efficient communication in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, with 3+ years in equipment operation, driving, or admin support preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate or Technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years' prior experience as an equipment operator, driver, or in an administrative support role.
• Prior transportation and/or heavy equipment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draws bars assigning cranes, trucks, and staff to daily jobs.
• Processes new hires and maintains training database.
• Transmits information, instructions, and permits.
• Monitors weather and adjusts procedures per regulations.
• Prepares daily dispatch reports and schedules.
• Coordinates with billing to ensure tickets are accurate and timely.
• Ensures DOT/compliance with regulations.
• Assists in dispatch of labor and equipment and maintains communication with operators and drivers.
